Terms of use
Last updated October 2026. By using Banana News you agree to these terms.
The service
Banana News is a news archive and reader: it shows headlines, short snippets, metadata and links to stories published by others, plus live streams and videos embedded from their official sources. Articles, streams and videos belong to their publishers.
Your account
- Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Do not try to get around the daily allowance or plan limits (for example with scripts or many free accounts).
Plans, bananas and payments
- Free accounts get a daily allowance of bananas (tokens). Stories, searches and each play of a video, live stream, podcast or audio briefing use bananas as shown on the site; the allowance refills every day.
- Paid plans and prices are shown on Pricing. Card plans renew automatically until you cancel; other payment methods last for the period you paid for. Details are on Renewal & cancelling.
- You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attacks, no scraping at volumes that harm the site, no reselling access, and no use that breaks the law or the rights of publishers.
Information, not advice
Everything on Banana News (including market prices, sports scores and odds, and weather) is for general information only and may be delayed or wrong. It is not financial, betting, medical or safety advice. Always check the original source.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.
Changes and ending
We may change the service or these terms; if a change matters, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account.
